Come and join us on a journey of taste and delight. Prepare to roll and stretch your homemade phyllo dough, taste amazing small bites on the market, sip a glass of  local wine, and enjoy a few hours of fun, cooking mouth-watering traditional Croatian delicacies.

We start with the rich and savoury starter – Štrukli. Fill it with farmhouse cheese, smother with cream and bake till’ crisp and golden. Follow up with a seasonal strudel – plums, apricots, apples etc… whatever is fresh from the market you will roll it up and bake to flaky, crisp perfection.

What to expect?

  • Cooking class includes the preparation of; phyllo doughs, cheese and fruit fillings, štrukli and strudel shaping and baking.

  • Lecturer to guide you step by step.

  • While the štrukli and strudel are in the oven, we will have a stroll through Dolac market, hear a few stories about the traditions and customs of the region, and see the local stallholders selling their produce.

  • After that its back to the kitchen, greeted with the heavenly smell of fresh baked štrukli and strudel in all its cheesy, creamy, fruity glory, not to mention a glass of Croatian white wine to wash it all down.
